Fantastic German Ww1 Swordsaber Well Marked No ReserveI am selling this item for a friedn of mine who has been collecting militaria for decades, and in his own wordsvet bought this summer! The vet had two swords exactly. Alike. He said eh had them both hanging over his fireplace. They. Were both in teh same excellent condition for their age. I sold one fo them to a. Friend, and this one i am listing this auction is for one sword only, the one shown in the photos. There are unit numbers 5 rr 10.56 on teh scabbard and i believe they are. To a reiter regiment, as this is a cavalry sword from ww1 or perhaps earlier. I have not. Cleaned it at all. Its exactly the way i got it and it is in very good condition for its age. There is lots of. Blueing on the scabbard and the blade is very clean as well. It has storgae grease color on. The blade which will clean up rgeat i am sure.
