Imperial German Artillery Sword Etched Blade Lion HeadVery nice qualiyt sword, 31 ½ inch blade, marked with a crown over a z in a shield, the hilt is marked _ e. Shutzt. Muster and also stamped with the z in a shield. Scabbard is steel with two brass scabbard bands. Fish skin grip with wire wrap. Blade is nicely engraved even along the back edge. At one time someone sharpened the edge it is neatly done and about 3mm. Wide. A few other minro scratches but no nicks or rust. Some wear to the grip but wire in place. Scabbard has some small rust spots and missing one throat screw, but overall very nice. A really fine example of its type a well made sword.
