Rare Colonial SwordA very rare colonial sword in a original and nice condition. The hilt of the sword is of cast brass with the colonial-style eagle. The grip is a wood base covered with fishskin at several places the fishskin is gone by the years the grip is single wire wrapped the fingerschauf (leather strap) is still there. The nickeled blade is straight and double fullered there are no makers mark. The blade is 32 long and at the ricasso 1 width the overall lenght is 37,5. The steel scabbard has two bands and one ring and is brown/black. The oevrall condition of this sword very nice. |
