Us M1917 A1 HelmetU. S. Army m1917 a-1 helmet. This is a wwi helmet re-issued to the army and marines in the south pacific in the early years of wwii until supplies were exhausted in 1942. This hemlet has about 98% original paint still in tact w/ sand finish, leather liner and canvas chin strap with quick release buckle. Leather is soft and shows minimal wear. Overall condition is excellent. This item has been a part of my persnoal military collection. No returns, so if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos please let me know.
