Us Wwi Winchester Bayonet Model 1917 Enfield PatternAll original u. S. World war i model 1917 enfield bayonet & scabbard made yb winchester. Bayonet blade is stamped with u. S. And flaming bomb on one side near cross guard. Other side fo bayonet is stamped 1917 with w inside circle (for the winchester arms company). Plaese enlarge auction photos for best review. Bayonet measures almost 22 inches in length from base of handle to tip of blade. Bayonet. & blade show normal wear and use for age. Blade is clean and has. Been sharpneed by the military. Cross guard hsows signs of rust with. Some areas of pitting (will clean up). Wood handle has hcipped area near bayonet release button. Please see auction photos. Included si the original scabbard (leather? ) painted. Green with brass fasetners for web belt. Scabbard also shows normal. Wear & use for age. Great addition to any u.S.
