Wwi German Cavalry Sword Saber WkcPlease read the entire listing before bidding. Due to ebay's new policies, we now acecpt paypal. Bidders from outside the united states, please check your customs regulations before bidding because i may not be able to ship this bayonet to your country. We will not ship to italy. This auction is for an odl sword or saber. From what research that has been done, it seems to be a german wwi cavalry sword/saber. It measures 32-1/8 long total. The blaed is marked weyersburg kirschbaum & co, solingen. The blade has numerous tarnish spots and the last 9 of the blade si heavily tarnished. One side of the blade looks like at one time it had a couple of words on it but they have worn off or were taken off and none of it can be read. It looks like someone tride to clean the blade and left numerous scratches which could possibly be polished out. The handle is stamped with 3898 and there is also what looks like an oval with the letters ra stamped on the guard. The guard and handle have scratches and also soem surface rust. The scabbard has a good amount of tarnish. Please check out my other auctions, i have a few other bayonets on now and in the coming weeks i will be putting some other nice rare bayonets on ebay. All of these bayonets were in a large knife and bayonet collection that was recently purchased. The previous owner had already identified all of the items and had them clearly marked with tags. Thus far, i have not been able to find any errors in his identification.
I can offer combined shipping on most items but i will not be able to get a shipping estimate until after the auctions end and i can pack the items together. We od offer insurance.
